Energetické kaskády v rekonexi magnetického pole

Getting closer to the maximum of the eleven-years cycle of solar activity, an interest about solar flares, associated coronal mass ejections and their influence on the Earth environment increases. In solar flares the key mechanism is the magnetic field reconnection. A direct application of the magnetic reconnection theory to solar flares faces up to one principal challenge for a long time: a typical size of the region, where the magnetic reconnection takes place, is many orders of magnitude larger than predicted by theory. This fact led us to work out the theory of energetic cascades in the magnetic reconnection – the theory of fragmented reconnection. This theory is applicable not only for solar flares and other eruptive phenomena on stars, in magnetospheres of planets, and magnetars, but also generally in plasma physics.
